  24 3.) Is there a pdf2swf for Windows?

  26     No. pdf2swf only runs on Unix platforms, like Linux, *BSD, MacOS X, etc.
  27     There have been some reports on more or less successfully compling pdf2swf on Win32 using
  28     Cygwin (http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin), however, there's no working version
  29     yet.
  30     If you want to use pdf2swf, find a Unix machine.

  36 5.) The fonts in the SWFs generated by pdf2swf are wrong!

  38     Try running pdf2swf with the "-v" switch.
  39     If you see a line reading "substituting VerySpecialFont -> Times-Roman", then pdf2swf
  40     didn't find some fonts, which may be external references in the pdf.
  41     To fix this, copy the fonts into your current directory and pass the "-F ./" (--fontpath ./)
  42     option to pdf2swf. (This doesn't yet work with TTF, only with Type1 Fonts. You can
  43     convert TTF to Type1, however, using ttf2pt1 (http://ttf2pt1.sourceforge.net)).
  44     The font files should, in this case, have the filenames VerySpecialFont.afm and
  45     VerySpecialFont.pfa (.pfb).

  49     It supports PNG mode 2 transparency (alpha palettes) since version 0.4.2.
  50     Mode 6 (32 bit RGBA truecolor) is also supported since version 0.4.3, however
  51     it seems most Flash players don't handle the alpha channel in the resulting
  52     32 bit images correctly.
